ou can join the organizing team by filling out the available volunteer form, with various roles available including coordination, event management, communications, technical support, and others. We believe everyone has a role to contribute, and all current KHASB team members are volunteers working with dedication to bring Syria back to the economic forefront.

Virtual conference attendance is free, while some in-person local synchronized meetings may require registration fees or special invitations depending on the event nature and venue.

If you have a project idea or startup, you can submit it through the project submission form to be presented to a network of investors and experts who can support and fund your project. You need to record a video under 4 minutes presenting your idea. After review by a specialized committee, you'll be informed of next steps, such as an invitation for a live presentation on conference day or participation in a live stream. All submitted projects will be included in the "Permanent Exhibition of Startups" on the platform.

Current speakers were nominated by experts in various sectors, but due to Syrians' crucial need to reconnect after years of isolation, we've opened personal nominations. You can register by filling out the participation form available on the conference website, which includes the option to participate as a speaker. You'll be asked to submit a recorded presentation (video) of your topic, which will be reviewed and included in the appropriate program.

The conference is open to entrepreneurs, investors, academics, startup owners, Syrians both inside the country and expatriates, and anyone interested in contributing to building the Syrian economy. The synchronized local meetings and economic seminars for Syrian communities also attract non-Syrian interested parties and are conducted in local languages alongside Arabic.

All synchronized local meetings (in the format of a half-day mini-conference or 4-hour discussion seminar) are listed officially and shown on the homepage map. If there isn't a local meeting in your city, you can apply to host one through this form (select the option - host a local networking meeting in your city during the conference day). We provide full support for organizing the initial meeting, including program preparation, speaker nominations, reservations and invitations, plus media coverage and support. We also provide appropriate tools to follow up on these local meetings to mobilize support for the Syrian community in your city and form an effective and influential Syrian lobby.

Concurrent with the conference in Damascus, local meetings are held in several cities worldwide, including mini-conferences and local economic seminars, allowing participants direct networking opportunities. You can check the list of available local meetings in your city or contribute by hosting a local meeting if none exists.

The "Steps of Industry and Building" conference is the first edition of a series of periodic conferences and meetings aimed at enhancing economic cooperation between Syrians inside and outside the country. The conference is held simultaneously in Damascus and other capitals, where those in Damascus can attend in person, while expatriates can participate online and in person through synchronized local meetings in their cities.

KHASB is a sustainable platform for economic projects in Syria aimed at revitalizing the Syrian economic landscape. It focuses on building communication bridges and twinning between entrepreneurs, investors, and experts both inside and outside Syria, while mobilizing support for Syrian communities and enabling them to play an active role in rebuilding the Syrian economy.
